STA WILL CONSULT ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE BALEEN WHALE DATABASE, INCLUDING DATA FORMATS, DATA EXTRACTION AND PRE-PROCESSING STEPS, AND DATABASE STRUCTURE. STA WILL ASSIST WITH ASSESSING PERFORMANCE OF VECTOR SENSOR LOCALIZATION TECHNIQUES ON DATABASE CALLS AND SUBSEQUENT VALIDATION DATASETS COLLECTED IN STELLWAGEN BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARY. COPI GILLESPIE WILL PARTICIPATE IN PL MEETINGS AND PROJECT MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT, AND WILL CONTRIBUTE TO REPORTS, PAPERS, AND ANNUAL IPR MEETING PRESENTATIONS.
A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES AT ST ANDREWS WITHIN THE LARGER CETACEAN CALLER ID PROJECT ARE CURRENTLY RESERVED AS OPTIONS FOR POTENTIAL FUNDING IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS.
