About FedSub

FedSub is a private company and is not affiliated with SBA, GSA/SAM.gov, or any government agency.

Where profile information comes from

Company profiles combine public government records (such as SAM.gov registrations, SBA certification data and USAspending.gov award records) with information provided by companies themselves. Information a company provided is labeled company-reported (or company-provided); the rest comes from government records. Government records are shown as published and may be out of date; confirm important details with the original source before relying on them.

Company-provided information

Representatives of a company may claim its profile and add company-reported information, such as a description, capabilities, teaming interests, contact details, a capability statement link and an employee count. This information is labeled company-reported. FedSub does not verify it unless it is specifically marked as verified.

What "Verified by FedSub" means

  • Certifications (such as 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB or SDVOSB) the company reported: "Verified by FedSub on <date>" means a FedSub reviewer found the certification listed as active in SBA's certification search on that date.
  • Capabilities the company added: "Verified by FedSub" means a FedSub reviewer checked the capability against the evidence recorded for the review, such as federal award records, the SAM.gov entity record, the company's own website or a document the company linked. It confirms that the evidence supports the capability, not that an independent body assessed it.

FedSub verification is a point-in-time, informational check. It is not a certification, and it is not a determination by SBA, the VA or any other agency. Certifications can change after the check; confirm current status with SBA before relying on it, for example before a set-aside award.

Claiming a company profile

  • Claim a profile only if you are authorized to represent the company. FedSub reviews each claim and may ask for more information.
  • Information you add must be accurate and must not infringe anyone's rights.
  • FedSub may remove company-provided information, revoke a verification or remove a representative's access when information is inaccurate or a claim turns out to be unauthorized.
